​Director - Tahir Nagji 

My Tutor’s founder Tahir Nagji, created the bespoke My Tutor home learning experience to be both enjoyable and effective. By learning in the comfort of your own home, or in a location like your local library, My Tutor ensures the environment is conducive to your learning and free from distractions and interruptions.

At My Tutor, we assess every new student’s needs to ensure every one of you achieves exactly what you seek. We will pair you or your children with a tutor who has been diligently reviewed, screened and selected to meet your particular needs.

Our approach is personal and highly tailored with experienced consultants who look after your educational needs from the initial assignment brief and tutor placement until the desired academic results are achieved.  We cover all academic subjects, exams and levels from primary, school entrance exams, WACE, Pre-U, university level and beyond.  Our tutors come to your home at a time that is convenient for you and your child, whether after school or on the weekend.  We also provide residential and more fulltime tutors when needed and work with international and university students online.

Tahir has a B.Sc (Hons)  from The University of Nottingham  specialising in Environmental Science graduating with a First Class Honours degree followed by a Masters of Science in Hydrogeology from The University of Birmingham (MSc Hydrogeology) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Health from The University of Queensland. Tahir has worked as a hydrogeologist in an engineering consultancy for the mining industry in Western Australia and for Local Government in Perth as an Environmental Health Practitioner before moving into education and teaching. Tahir has worked in several educational settings including Secondary Schools, University and Educational Centres both in the UK and Australia. Tahir tutorials are exam-focused yet encourage real-world understanding of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, rather than just learning them by rote. Tahir inspires his students to learn more and provides a thorough approach to the WACE exams.
