Upper Secondary School (Year 10-12)
High School can be a challenging time for a teenager, with university choices resting on the outcome of the results WACE exams and ATAR. Students need to combine a strong grasp of the subject both factually and conceptually as well as having secure understanding of exam technique for the specific boards and subjects they are studying. Our team of tutors have extensive experience of helping students through their exams. They focus on where the gaps are working in a way that works for the individual teenager. Lower Secondary (Years 7-9) The first few years of secondary school bring a number of challenges as students adapt to a large number of compulsory subjects. They also need to develop the study skills and time management skills to stay on top of their workloads and be able to enjoy their free time as teenagers. Not every student progresses at the same pace as their peers or has an aptitude for the full range of subjects. Not only can this dent confidence, it can also have a knock on effect on other subjects. A private tutor can help boost a student’s learning in a subject or even just a specific topic as well as help them with good study disciplines and organisation. Our tutors all have good degrees in the subjects they teach and a track record of working with teenagers. |
